Down to Ruins

"PHANTOMS!" A monkey came running into town waving his arms in the air. 

Everyone looked to the leader for help. 

"What? You expect me to kill those phantoms? I'm gonna die!" The lion roared at the villagers. 

"You're our leader, fool!" Someone in the crowd yelled.

"Yeah! You have to protect us!" The crowd began to chant.

"I'll stop the phantoms!"

Everyone turned to look as a small koala. 

"You are just a kid! What can you do?" A tiger snickers.

"I'll do something about this." The koala said with determination in his eyes. "Everyone evacuate to the village nearby!"

The villagers all grunted. However, they followed the koala's command. 

"Cosmo, dear. You don't have to do this." 

Cosmo looks up at his mom. Tears began to flood in his eyes. 

"Momm...." Cosmo hugged his mom tightly. "You have to evacuate. I have to stop the phantoms. I have to protect you.." 

With one last kiss, Cosmo watched his momma catch up with the other villagers.
